The Ringside Redesign

About a month ago Ringside started throwing around the idea of giving itself a facelift. We were fond of many of our original ideas, but decided it was time to enhance them. 

On the first step of our redesign, we had to sit down and do some thinking. Which elements really worked on our old site, which didn't? How could we make the new site more user friendly? What new technologies and trends did we want to incorporate?



The next step was to sketch. The purpose of the paper sketch was to discover the perfect combinations of design and usability. 

After having a clear understanding of the navigation layout, functions, and features, it was time for the photoshop mock-ups. In the mock-up stage you discover you color scheme, you find your look and skin. Through many rounds we came to what you're seeing here. Hope you enjoy!
