Logo Design
Project Type: branding
This Galveston-based shop came to Ringside with the need to create many, many pieces--business cards, window signs, stamps, bags a website--but the first, and probably most important, piece we needed to conceptualize was the logo.
The Little Shopkeeper really gave us free rein on this, making it an incredibly fun project.
The first thing we needed to explore with them was color scheme. What colors do they like? What colors speak to their potential clientele? How do you want people to see your business? It's amazing how many Pantone color books a person can go through to get to just the perfect shade, but it's incredibly important to have it perfect!
After deciding on ballet pink and stark white, we were able to understand both the shop and the client it was trying to grab.
Business Cards
Project Type: print
For the business cards we decided to go with a matte finish on a very thick card stock using their signature colors--ballet pink and white. Instead of opting for a typical, and sometimes harsh, black for the employee info, we decided to go with a charcoal grey to continue on with the soothing colors and feel.
